Every day, thousands of women across the country live in fear of an abusive partner or stalker who has guns, or can get them easily.
Right now, a bipartisan group of U.S. Senators are working to make it harder for stalkers and domestic abusers to get their hands on guns. This is a great start to making women safer.
We know that domestic violence and guns are a dangerous mix, and that when a gun is present in a domestic violence situation, it’s five times more likely that the woman will be murdered.
We need our Senators, especially Pat Toomey to get on board and support this bill.
