On Tuesday in Pittsburgh, Mayor Bill Peduto and police Chief Cameron McLay held a press conference with other community leaders to address recent gun violence in the city. Since the beginning of September, at least fifteen people have been killed or wounded. The meeting began with a reading of a list of recent shooting victims, including “22-month-old Josiah Taylor in Fineview; Curtis Pounds, 15, of Knoxville; and a 14-year-old in East Liberty, Desean Fountain,” writes The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette‘s Lexi Belculfine.

Rich Carrington, the executive director of Voices Against Violence, asked, “When are we going to say enough is enough?”
